Education is essential for innovation to take place, and Darwin is proud to have strong links to academia in its partnerships with the University of Oxford and the University of Glasgow.
In February 2023, Darwin’s co-founder Daniela Petrovic was invited to the University of Oxford’s Saïd Business School as a guest lecturer. Daniela was pleased to present Darwin to participants in the business school’s 2023 MBA programme as an example of technological and business innovation.
‘The interactions with students were great,’ Daniela says. ‘I was impressed by their questions, and by their interest in how new technology can trigger innovation ecosystems. I am glad to advance our connection with academia in this way, in addition to our ongoing collaboration with universities as part of our approach to running a business.’
Darwin’s interest in the importance of education can also be seen in the Darwin Business Innovation Lab, a space where business leaders can learn new ways to tackle problems and innovate. The lab combines the knowledge of experts from Darwin Innovation Group, the University of Oxford and the University of Glasgow.
